The NBEA was founded on the principals of leadership, accountability, and integrity which has allowed us to help position African Americans to the highest positions not only in this company, but across the corporate American landscape. We are very proud to be the first caucus group at a Fortune 500 company in 1968; developed and designed to create opportunities for those that may not have necessarily been exposed or afforded the chance to showcase their talent and expertise in the greatest way.

Our 2015-17 priorities are Professional Development ( opportunities to develop skillsets and expertise to advance) and Virtual Expansion (forging relationships with employees across the globe). These priorities will enable us to position NBEA to help our company recruit, retain, and recognize our members thus creating a solid and robust pipeline of talent for generations to come.

As we move forward, we cannot rest on our laurels. We still have work to do. Most importantly, we must not forget where come from; and continue to support our groups even if we find ourselves not personally not needing the support. The NBEA will be a partner and advocate for leadership, professional development, and progression while increasing the return on the company’s investment of diversity and inclusion.
